A need had been long felt to meet the requirement of young learners who aspire to be teachers in the Primary School for little kids. In the absence of any such training institute here at Pandua the young learners had to move to different scattered parts of west Bengal. It gave me a great shock in my mind since I was the passive eye witness to the helplessness of boys and girls of our Pandua block.
I began planning to start teachers’ training institute; but the impediment was profuse. had to overcome them one after another. And at last like a flower the institute blossomed forth. A three storied building sprang up in our land before obtaining recognition from N.C.T.E. (National Council for Teacher Education) and affiliation from West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
After my studentship I always stressed the need for career development of a purer nature. What that could be was always hovering round my mind.
Ultimately, I decided that I would embark upon a new adventure of establishing an academic institute of a humble nature. The idea of D.El.Ed Institute loomed large in my mind.
It is very easy to catch an idea but difficult to translate it into practice. After the purchase of the land the building started to be constructed. Was it the end? Certainly not, so many difficulties; I had to face regarding the problem of recognition / Affiliation by competent authorities; they had been a great obstacles.
